Now that it’s official, I can finally tell you that I’m going to be Koldinghus Museums Silversmith Of The Year.
On October 14th 2011 I’ll be presented with the Karl Gustav Hansen Prize at Koldinghus Museum and from 15th October through 20th November there will be a retrospective exhibition of my work.
At the moment I’m busy making a piece for the museum that is part of the prize – so i’ll keep it short, and tell you more about it in October.
Here’s a link to the piece about it in Politiken Newspaper (in danish I’m afraid)
My work was also featured in this weeks Borsen Pleasure Magazine – you can see it here.

About the blog
This is my online journal about my life as a silversmith. I'll be blogging about materials, processes, functions (or non-functions) and why thing should be or look in a specific way, about what goes on in the workshop and outside it, and anything that inspires me and might interest you. This is where you get a glimpse of my universe.

Hvor er det FOR VILDT. Kæmpestort tillykke.
Tusind tak, Charlotte:)
Great news and warmest congratulations on your award Sidsel. Well deserved!
Best regards,
