Candlabra

A pair of candelabras, exploring how fluidity, movement and volume can be created in the repetition of a simple line.
The object – the functionality of the candelabra – also interests me in this connection, as it’s a very decorative object with the sole purpose of holding a candle. The fact that today nobody would eat by candlelight alone, that the candelabra has become this mood spreading object that isn’t directly involved with the food but very much the dining experience, also makes it a challenge, as functionality is very important to me.
